Anastasia Wedding Workshops 2012 - A 3 Day Intensive Course
Held over the course of three days, this intensive workshop is aimed at those who are considering to start their own wedding flower business. You will be taught by one of the UKs leading professional florists, Lana Bates. Lana has a string of awards and accolades, including a Chelsea Gold medal. She travels, demonstrates and teaches all over the world.
You will also be given all the information you need about care and conditioning of flowers, budgeting, quoting, pricing.

• wired posies
• wired ‘teardrop’ bouquets
• bouquets on foam holders
• buttonholes
• corsages
• wrist corsages and hair accessories
• venue styling
• pedestals
• pew ends
• top table arrangements
• different styles of table arrangements
Theory work will include:
• colour and design theory
• care and conditioning of flowers
• pricing
• budgeting
• quoting
• purchasing flowers
• purchasing sundries and containers
• lists of suppliers
• marketing
• wholesale buying

January: Saturday 14, Sunday 15 and Monday 16
Course runs from 10am-6pm every day with a break for lunch
April: Saturday 21, Sunday 22 and Monday 23

All materials and appropriate sundries are included in the cost of the course
All tools required will be provided for your use while attending the course
All information will be provided in special files for you to take away for future reference. You will also be required to take notes where necessary.
